Today we read from the One Year Bible in the following passages:
Exodus 29:1-30:10
Matthew 26:14-46
Psalm 31:19-24
Proverbs 8:14-26
And the verse from Psalms is what I want to focus on. God has SO MUCH good stuff stored up for those of us who follow Him. Let's think about this for a second. God created everything in the beginning, and He called it good. It was perfect. And then sin came and ruined stuff. But then He redeemed it. And what He has prepared for us, both in this life and in the next, is really wonderful and great! It starts great and it ends great. We just have to bear with the aptly named meantime. But take heart! Great stuff is ahead!
God, thanks for reminding us that there is goodness all around us, just some nasty stuff to deal with right now.
