Oh man. You gotta read this. I've always found St Joseph of Cupertino fascinating, because it's one of the very few saints who could levitate. I never understood why this embarrassed his fellow priests and made them hide Joseph from the gathering crowds... until I read that article. The more you read it, the more you fall in love with this simple young man who loved God.
If you're feeling down, and feel like you've made mistakes or that you're not worth much, read the story of St Joseph of Cupertino. As Ruff Taff sings in one of his great songs, "I hear You have a soft spot for fools and little children, and I'm glad, cuz I've been both of those."
When you're feeling like the dumbest person who ever lived, or when you're feeling on top of the world - God is there, loving you.
God, thanks for this simple and wonderful man who trusted You. St Joseph of Cupertino, pray for us.
