Today in the reading from the One Year Bible in John 1:29-51, we see how simple it is to bring people to Jesus. John the Baptist just points at Jesus and says, "Look! The Lamb of God!" and two of his followers went to Jesus and started following Him.
Jesus asks "What do you want?" That's a huge question, and He's asking you the same one today. The disciples give a great answer (for a change) and ask, "Where are You staying?" They wanted to see His life. And He invited them, by saying, "Come and see."
You have that invitation today, too. To come and see what following Him is like. But you also have the ability to do as John did. Point at Jesus and say, "Look! The Lamb of God!" You don't have to talk people into it. You're not a car salesman. Just direct them to Him. He'll do the rest.
God, thanks for inviting us to come and see.
