wrestling with God
Today in the One Year Bible, we read one of the most famous verses in the Bible: John 3:16. We read the passage John 3:1-21. Here, we read about Jesus meeting with Nicodemus, a religious leader who has trouble with something Jesus tells him.
He comes to Jesus at night, because he's afraid of the other religious leaders and what they think. But he praises Jesus for His miracles and tells Him that he knows God sent Him to teach people, because God is clearly with Him.
Jesus turns to him immediately and replies, "Listen, this is important: if you're not born again, you can't see God's kingdom."
This blows Nicodemus's mind. But he does what we should all do when God blows our minds: he struggles with Him about it. He doesn't just go, "Yeah, OK, whatever that means.... whatever You say, God. That's great." And walk away not knowing what He meant. Instead he asks questions and probes into the matter so that he can apply it to his life.
That's what God wants you to do, too. When He tells you something, or shows you a new thing in your life, He doesn't just want you to go, "Oh, OK. I guess that's what God wants. Whatever that means." He wants you to wrestle with it, with Him, and to come to really understand it, so that you can apply it to your life and be transformed.
God, thanks for showing us new things. Help us wrestle with them.

Amen
typical liberal cover your ears what you don't want to hear. I keep in my 1pm rosary today.
I think you accidentally posted this on the wrong blog.
That's the only explanation I can think of.
