He already told you

Today in the One Year Bible, we read from John 10:22-42. Jesus is talking to the crowd, and they're asking Him to tell them PLAINLY if He is the Messiah or not. He says, "I already told you, but you don't believe me."

We shouldn't disparage the crowd too much, though, because how many times have WE asked God, "Just tell me CLEARLY what You want me to do..."? And He says the same thing to us. "I already told you, and you didn't believe Me."

So ask for more faith. That's the nice thing about faith and wisdom. If you lack them, you can just ask for more, and He'll give it to you. Ask for faith, and He'll help you to believe Him when He tells you what He wants you to do.

And then when you do it, you'll be utterly satisfied. Doing His will is like that.

God, thanks for telling us. Help us to believe it.
