He keeps it simple

Today's readings: Zechariah 2:1-3:10, Revelation 12:18-13:18, Psalm 141:1-10, Proverbs 30:18-20

We are shown many alarming and confusing things about future events in the reading today. Have these things happened? Will they happen in our lifetime? Does it mean literally what it says? We don't know.

But what we DO know is that the enemy is real, and wants to destroy us. We know that he will deceive many, and will say horrible things about God. And we know he will lose.

So what should we do about all of this? Fortunately, our part is pretty simple. Love God, and love each other. What if they're our enemy?? Love them. What if Muslims are our friends? Love them. What if they're trying to kill us? Love them. What if Satan is lying to us? Well, he is. And our answer is... focus on God, and love Him.

Life can be confusing. The end times can be confusing. But God keeps it simple for us. Love Him. Love everyone else.

Even I can understand that.

Thanks, God, for keeping it simple for us.

My one concern is so many people just don't get it that satan is real........thus they imply that there need for God or love for Him is marginal. They just try to be good......either you are for Him or against Him.....there isn't just this safe area inbetween.
