call me if you need me

i'm not a very political person. i consider myself neither a democrat nor a republican. i vote for, well... usually i vote for the person i feel will screw the country up the least while in office. the last 3 elections have been pretty much a case of lesser of two evils.
.
but this time, i actually have a candidate i agree with. besides the incredible courage and moral dignity that he's shown throughout his life, John McCain votes the way he believes. and he believes almost all of the same things i do. he is pro-life. he is pro-immigrant. he is anti-federal healthcare for all. he is against tons of new government programs that will inevitably raise taxes. while he Does seem to show concern for global warming, he's not a fanatic about it. he simply has a plan to deal with responsibility in taking care of our environment.
.
lately he has shown great moral fiber and responsible leadership in several ways. he has appointed a fantastic vp. sarah palin is one of the few people i've ever read about that i actually admire. she cares about things deeply. she is unwavered by the party line, and will call to task anyone - even her boss - when she thinks that corruption is involved in government.
.
he has delayed his convention because of the hurricane crisis.
.
and now he has put off the partisan politics of the presidential debates to deal with the economic crisis in washington. he didn't even have to be asked - he suggested to president bush that he and obama should come back to washington to help.
.
bush agreed, and asked him and obama to come back and assist in dealing with the problem.
.
where is obama? he said today, in the first conference i've seen that didn't show the media portraying him in the best light possible (i'm not sure why the media love him so much... they didn't seem to take such a strong liking to previous liberal candidates), that he told washington he would come 'if they needed him'.
.
senator obama - if the country doesn't need you now... do you think it'll need you next year?
