reaction to the gospel

We read these verses today in the One Year Bible:

2 Kings 20:1-22:2
Acts 21:18-36
Psalm 150:1-6
Proverbs 18:9-10

Paul is in Jerusalem, and he's causing an uproar. Just teaching the gospel and traveling with non Jewish people is turning the city upside down.

We will see a violent reaction when we share the gospel, too. It goes against what the world wants and believes. In this country, at this time, it probably won't get you killed (like it did Paul). But you will be attacked and ostracized. 

Are you willing to accept the costs of sharing the truth? 

God, thank You for showing us the dangers of sharing Your truth. Give us the courage to do it anyway.
