Today in the One Year Bible, we read from 1 Chronicles 1:1-2:17. It's a list of people from Adam to Amasa. And it's easy to get lost in this list.
It's easy for us to get lost in the actual line of people from the beginning to the end of time, too. For me and you to go about our daily lives, eating and drinking and sleeping, and not making any noticeable difference in the world. Just another name in the geneology.
How will you stand out? What will you be known for? When they get to your name in the list, what will it make people think of?
God, thank You for giving us a chance to stand out. Give us the courage to do so.
