Today we read from Ephesians 6:1-24 in the One Year Bible. Paul encourages us to work hard. He says to work as though we're working for God, not for men. And that's one good reminder.
Another good reminder is that we will one day face God. And we can either face Him and be pleased with what we did with our time and money while we were in our mortal lives... or we can be ashamed how much time and money we wasted on silly things that meant nothing.
Keeping that truth in mind, how might you change your activities today?
God, thanks for the reminder that everything we do in this life matters... and can matter greatly if we do it for You.
