Today in the One Year Bible, we read from Ephesians 4:1-16, where Paul gives us a little gem of a verse that we should just sit and meditate on for awhile. He says, "Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with one another, making allowance for each other's faults because of your love."
As you absorb that verse into your heart, listen to this. (The video is weird, though, so only watch it if you're into weird stuff. Otherwise just listen to it.)
Let's strive to make tomorrow (or today, if you're reading this in the morning) more like this... being humble and gentle... being patient with everyone, even those who cut us off in traffic or are rude to us at the store... making allowance for everyone's faults (because we've all got them) because of our love.
And when we run out of love, we can go back to Him for more. Because He's always so kind and generous. He'll give you all the love you need.
God, thanks for being kind and generous, and helping us to be that way sometimes, too.
