but then again....

Today in the One Year Bible, we read from 1 Corinthians 4:1-21. Paul tells us that even though his conscience is clear, that doesn't mean he's 100% right. Which is an odd thing to say when you're writing the Bible. But he gives us good advice here: don't judge anyone until Jesus comes and reveals everything.

That's really good advice today. Because we only get part of the story. With mass murderers. With child molesters. With people who seem to do nothing but good. With people who seem to do nothing but evil. We never get the full story, and we WON'T... until He comes and reveals all that has been hidden.

So give grace to those who have done wrong. Have mercy on those who have killed or molested. Be kind to those who cut you off in traffic or flip you off on the street. Because one day we'll know the whole story - and we'll understand.

God, thanks for reminding us that there's more to the story... in every story.
