God knows what He's doing

Today we read from Acts 9:1-25 in the One Year Bible. And God shows that He really knows what He's doing.

No one in the world would have guessed that Paul, the man who went from town to town hunting Christians to persecute them, would be CHOSEN by God to spread that very faith all over the known world.

But He knocked Paul off of his horse and got his attention. He healed him of the blindness that he'd had all along about who Jesus was. And then He used things unlikely servant to share His love with the whole world.

God, please knock us off of whatever horse is carrying us away from Your will, and help us to became Your unlikely servants, too.
