He is our rock

We read today from Psalm 95:1-96:13 in the One Year Bible. And the first verse says, "Come, let us sing for joy to the LORD; let us shout aloud to the rock of our salvation."

And those are powerful words, especially in the fluid, sandy world we live in. He is our rock, even when things seem especially slippery and uncertain in the world around us. We can trust in Him, rest in His love and protection, even when the world is losing its mind all around. He won't be shaken, and His promises are sure.

So let's sing for joy. Let's delight in the rock of our salvation. He will always be there for us, no matter how scary the night becomes.
