He tells us what humility looks like. Someone who serves. Who takes more interest in what YOU have to say than in telling you what they think. Who finds everything interesting, as is evidenced in the quote above. Pride makes us bored. Humility keeps us interested - and interesting.
True humility is very attractive, isn't it? Not much is more off-putting than someone who is full of themselves. Not much is more interesting than someone who cares what YOU have to say.
God, please help us to be humble.
