Let's talk about Ruth. Right at the beginning we see Ruth going out to work in the field. She is a hard worker and probably poor. You can see how this condition - being poor and working hard - is good for her. It teaches her humility and it teaches US that hard work is a good thing. I've met many people who say that even if they won the lottery tomorrow, they would still go to work the next day. Work isn't just something they HAVE to do in order to make money and buy food, it's a way of life. Elon Musk, for example, works harder than most people I know. He works 17 hours a day, 7 days a week. And you can see from his success that it pays off. But even though he now has more money than anyone else on the planet, he keeps working hard, making the world a better place (at least in his estimation, and in mine).
Hard work is good for you! Learn to cultivate it in your life and you will reap many benefits from it!
God, thank You for teaching us that hard work is a good thing.
