Today we celebrate St Michael the Archangel. He refused to join Lucifer in rebelling against God, and he will defeat him again at the end of time. He is the angel that we can ask to intercede for us when we are afflicted by the devil. He defends the church. You can read more about him here.
When you speak the truth today, you're going to anger the world. You're also going to anger the devil and his followers, who might try to hurt you. So it's a good idea to ask St Michael to keep you protected from that evil, since the devil is a smart and lying enemy who can easily deceive us.
God, thank You for giving us this mighty angel to protect us. St Michael the Archangel, pray for us.
