Today in the book In Caelo et in Terra, we read about a woman who knew what true religion is. At a young age, she devoted herself to being a consecrated virgin, married to God. She worked all of her life, until the wonderful old age of 92, to help orphans and widows and other people in need. This, according to James 1:27, is the very definition of true religion. Because of her great love and closeness to Jesus, the source of all love, she had great love to pour out to the poor and needy of our world.
If you stay close to Jesus, He will pour His never ending love into your heart so that it overflows like it did in her life, and spill onto everyone around you. Let's stay close to Him and connected. Apart from Him we can do nothing.
