Today we read from Acts 2:1-47 in the One Year Bible. We read the story of the Holy Spirit imparting gifts to the disciples so they can spread the gospel to the whole world.
That same Holy Spirit is available to you, you know? He will enable you to do the things He's called you to, as well. But even better than that, He will keep you connected to Jesus. He'll keep the power turned on in your life. He'll give you peace and direction. He'll take away your fears and fill your heart with love instead.
Just ask Him. He is more than willing to answer that prayer. If you have known sin in your life, repent from it. And ask Him to send His Holy Spirit to fill you with His presence. Then wait and see what happens!
God, thanks for filling us with Your Spirit. Help us stay filled.

I had a conversation with someone last night about the gifts of the Holy Spirit. We are blessed heirs, and God provides greatly for us.
