every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end

Today's readings: Malachi 3:1-4:6, Revelation 22:1-21, Psalm 150:1-6, Proverbs 31:25-31

Well, we did it. We made it through another year. And we made it all the way through the Bible. I'm happy to have made this journey with you.

Today, we read of healing. In Malachi, we read of fathers turning to their sons, and sons to their fathers. In Revelation, we read of the leaves of the trees in paradise being used for the healing of the nations. In Psalms, we read of the healing power of praise. And in Proverbs, we read of the healing touch of a godly wife.

We all need healing in our lives, don't we? And if we do, we should join our voices to those in Revelation that say "Come."

Come, Lord Jesus, into our lives. Heal us with your mercy and love. And please help us to make 2016 a year in which we look back and think of all the amazing things You have done.

We love You. Come, Lord Jesus!
