today's readings: Joshua 11:1-12:24, Luke 17:11-37, Psalm 84:1-12, Proverbs 13:5-6
i hope you realize that we are all the nine lepers most of the time. how often does God do things for us, and we run off hooping and hollering (like the joyful fellows in this delightful rendition are clearly doing) without taking a moment to thank God for what He's done for us?
i'm pretty sure it's often in most of our lives. yet, knowing that we'll be ungrateful, He heals us anyway.
God, please teach my heart to be grateful.
